WNBA fans are taking shots at Angel Reese after the hooper acknowledged her name getting included in the Team USA roster for the 2026 USA Women’s World Cup Qualifiers. Reese will be making her debut, along with several new names like Caitlin Clark and even Paige Bueckers.

Of course, Reese received massive trolling just for this, with many even questioning her credentials for the team. Reese is obviously talented and a much-needed baller on the team, but t looks like many fans are not too confident in her abilities.

“Introducing the 2026 USA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Team (fist emoji)” USA Basketball tweeted, sharing the list.

“(folded hands emoji)” Angel Reese shared USA Basketball’s tweet and shared her response.

“You know you’re the least qualified with the worst resume to be on this team correct?” one fan said.

“Chelsea Gray, Caitlin, Jackie Young, Sonia Citron & Kelsey Plum have those hands and willingly share the rock. Not to the mention they all can shoot from anywhere that’s a seriously impressive roster of shooting guards,” one fan pointed out.

“Majority of these girls hate Clark…interesting to see if they can put their hate aside. Especially when all eyes might be on Clark. Can they handle that?” another fan asked.

WNBA Fans Also Congratulate Angel Reese For Making USA Roster

Of course, there were numerous WNBA fans who were pretty delighted that Angel Reese managed to make it to the Team USA roster. Reese’s accomplishment is obviously a pretty juicy one and many are eager to see her on court soon enough.

“Congratulations on this amazing accomplishment!! (folded hands emoji, crown emoji, USA flag emoji) It’s a great day to be a Reese fan we up!” one fan said.

“USA Queen Reese, I wish you and TEAM USA the very best… (saluting emoji, USA flag emoji, heart eyes emoji, starry-eyes emoji, red heart emoji, white heart emoji, blue heart emoji)” another fan wished.

“Yessss Girl we’re proud of you (no. 5 emoji, star emoji x5) can’t wait to see you ball out,” one more fan said.

Angel Reese’s inclusion in the roster is obviously exciting, but it is also exciting to see that she will be paired along with her long-time rival Caitlin Clark. Clark too will be making her debut for the Team USA senior team this year.
