WNBA fans are wildly reacting to a post reciting the many achievements that Angel Reese managed to tick off in the past year. Reese has undoubtedly been busy, with several accomplishments both on and off the court.

Despite the list being pretty sizable, many fans took the opportunity to criticize Reese, with at least one pointing out that she was not able to take the Chicago Sky to the playoffs. Reese and Sky did not have a great season last time out, and things ended on a pretty sour note when the hooper seemed to call out her teammates for not doing well.

“What a year it was for Angel Reese. (teary-eyed emoji, sparkle emoji)” trendyhoopstars tweeted, sharing a picture of the list of Reese’s accomplishments in 2025.

“And still couldn’t get her team in the playoffs in a 12 team league (skull emoji)” one fan pointed out.

“Dam majority of ts don’t matter, nobody is gonna tell their kids Reese was a good hooper in 10-15 years. Most they could say she was 3rd or 4th option on a ‘college team’ that beat cc. That’s literally her biggest accomplishment is being a role player on a college championship team,” another fan said.

“Quit on her team as well! What a year (party popper emoji)” one more fan sarcastically remarked.

WNBA Fans Also Applaud Angel Reese For Massive Accomplishments

While many WNBA fans took the chance to deride Angel Reese for all the successes she experienced in the previous year, there were also numerous who applauded her and encouraged her to do more in this New Year.

“And she’s currently in the top 5 of the best WNBA players, Angel Reese. Happy New Year! (folded hands emoji, hands hi-fiving emoji, thumbs up emoji, OK hand emoji, red heart emoji, dove with olive brand emoji, champagne glasses clinking emoji)” one fan noted.

“Ayyyyyeeee (hi-fiving emoji x3)! Bmore Barbie! We love you Angel for all that you’ve accomplished and what you represent for little girls in Bmore and around this country! Keep making us proud!” One fan blessed Reese.

“…and got her own sneaker too.” one fan called back to Reese’s sneaker drop with Reebok last year.

Even if her team did not make it to the playoffs, Angel Reese had a pretty great run last year, both career-wise and personal life-wise. Towards the end of the year, it became public knowledge that Reese is currently dating Wendell Carter Jr. and the relationship seems to be going pretty strong.
