WNBA fans are reacting to Nick Wright’s latest remarks about Caitlin Clark. Wright announced that Clark is easily the most popular baller under the age of 35 years and even beats Luka Doncic and other players in this category.

While CC fans have been jumping up and down in joy at Wright’s latest comments, others are absorbing this with a pinch of salt. Many feel that ballers like Doncic and even Nikola Jokic are definitely a lot more popular internationally, while Clark may only be known well in the nation.

“The single most famous basketball player under the age of 35 years old is Caitlin Clark. The three most famous basketball players right now are 41-year-old LeBron James, and then 37, 38-year-old Stephen KD. Anthony Edwards, Luka, Jokic, Giannis, those guys have not ascended to that level, and that is the major issue facing the league, that they don’t right now have a solve to, and they’re hoping Wimby will solve it.” Nick Wright said.

Nick Wright believes Caitlin Clark is more famous than players like Luka Dončić.

“caitlin clark is only big in the united states. I doubt foreigners know CC like they know major nba superstars,” one fan called out.

“She’s not bigger than Giannis, Ja, Wemby, Ant, Luka, Jokic, Shai…Everybody I named besides Ant and Ja are HUGE names here in the US and their home countries, shes not even bigger than Angel Reese if we 1000 (person shrugging emoji) not BETTER, BIGGER,” another fan rightly said.

“That’s a wild take…but is it really? (person thinking emoji) Caitlin Clark changed the entire energy around women’s basketball in one season. Luka dominates globally. Fame ≠ skill. Impact ≠ rings. Who’s actually more famous worldwide right now?” one more fan asked.

WNBA Fans Also Agree That Caitlin Clark’s Impact Is Massive

Many WNBA fans argue that while Caitlin Clark might not be so well-known globally when compared to Nikola Jokic or Luka Doncic, the W player has definitely become a huge phenomenon in basketball itself.

“That’s a bold take (face with cold sweat emoji) but her impact and popularity have definitely been massive.” One fan said.

“Caitlin Clark’s reach is insane – college hoops, WNBA, mainstream media, casual fans, all of it. Luka’s the better player, but in terms of pure fame, she’s in her own lane right now.” another fan said.

“Maybe to the whopping 47 wnba fans,” one fan trolled.

There is no doubt that Caitlin Clark has a huge fan base among basketball fans, but it is also definite that she is yet to reach the masses that Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic or even many others like Wemby have reached.
