WNBA Fans didn’t hold back in their decisions this Wednesday, as shown in an X/Twitter post when it made them choose between $600k or a date with Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese. The results were shocking, yet expected, quite when one of the choices is one of the league’s most debated stars.
One user, @AlchemistTheOG, ensured the majority’s side was loudly heard when they wrote, “I’ll take 60 bucks,” making it bluntly clear that they’d rather pay a small amount than even a moment with Reese.

It was just one of the trolls the users used to give their insights on the question.
“600k please [fire emoji],” one user posted.
“Man give me 40k cash hell I take 10k cash. She ain’t worth it,” one user wrote.
“with her you’d be making a lot of bricks(money),” one user remarked.
“Angel Reese is the black version of Sophie Cunningham without the good looks or basketball talent,” one user bluntly commented, even going the extra mile to use both WNBA stars to shut down the question.

And to be honest? That question with Angel Reese on it will surely spark heated debates between the two sides of WNBA Fans: one side showing love to the Bayou Barbie, even amidst the hate and trolls she’s receiving, and the other side, the perpetrators. The latter have always tried making fun of Reese’s appearance, from simple trolls to even memes that compare her to the famous cartoon icon, Sid, from the movie Ice Age.
Moreover, WNBA Fans have also aimed at Reese’s consistently missed shots, even from close range, and her high rebound averages, which led them to call her by the infamous nickname “bricks.” Still, even with the hate and hype, Reese’s influence on the fanbase remains undeniable.

WNBA Fans also triggered debate on Angel Reese’s college stint
Meanwhile, WNBA Fans were also in a very serious debate recently, considering whether Angel Reese was worthy of being the SEC’s Player of the Year in her first year with the LSU Tigers.
However, user @Martydeek immediately shut down the question when he wrote, “Winning 1 ring doesn’t make you an all time great. Dumb post,” joining the side of WNBA Fans who continue to criticize Reese’s career.

Reese might’ve never won her first MVP at LSU, but all WNBA Fans must still recognize that she is, if not the biggest, one of the most crucial pieces to the Tigers’ championship.
