Most WNBA Fans will agree that Caitlin Clark is now the face of the league, and her impact extends both on and off the court. This time, X/Twitter page @SoleRetriever revealed that Clark’s Nike Kobe 6 Protro PE shoes are the most-worn shoes in the NBA for last month, with more than 2k minutes, with her Kobe 5 Protro just following at the fifth spot.

This is the Kobe 6 effect. If you put her name on any other name, guarantee it’s not selling like Kobes.

While WNBA Fans have largely joined in supporting Clark, one user, @bankrollsniper, was wary when they wrote, “Still a shame they let her carry on the Kobe’s, get your own shoe,” claiming that the Indiana Fever star should have her own shoe line.

They weren’t alone in raising this concern, as many Fans also believe Clark’s shoes don’t truly stand out.

“they are wearing them because of kobe [laugh emoji],” one user wrote.

“Caitlin Clark is the face of not just a franchise but the face of woman’s sport hopefully the WNBA can figure this out,” one user remarked.

“This is the Kobe 6 effect. If you put her name on any other name, guarantee it’s not selling like Kobes,” one user commented.

While the WNBA Fans think that both of Clark’s Kobe 5 and 6 shoes only became popular due to its namesake, Kobe Bryant, the Indiana Fever star is already set on releasing her signature shoes soon. Unlike the previous ones, it is ideally suited to fit her unique style, which will undoubtedly garner massive sales and love from the Fans.

Whether WNBA fans have acknowledged the beauty of Clark’s shoe or how it is now dominating the NBA’s shoe line, Fans will expect a lot from her as her journey as one of her generation’s prodigies continues.

WNBA Fans support YouTuber after saying league is unprepared for the Caitlin Clark phenomenon

Meanwhile, WNBA Fans join in on X/Twitter user and YouTuber @BlameVenom after landing a bold claim about the Caitlin Clark effect: that most players in the league have yet to acknowledge it. They believed that the league should be entitled to the impact Clark has brought them.

User @chrisd2846 perfectly captured the YouTuber’s remarks, believing that even Clark’s teammates shall do something to protect her from the hate.

They wrote, “I’m in, hard to be a fan of the league with all the jealous, toxic females. Her team piss me off big time allowing anyone to touch her with no consequences. Say you love someone, PROVE IT, like sophie,”

Moreover, other WNBA Fans brought up how Clark hasn’t just changed how the league was played, but how she changed the economy thanks to her exploding merchandise sales. It’s clear that Clark has captured the hearts of many, many fans.
