WNBA fans have found another way to ridicule Angel Reese after the “Chi-Town Barbie” recently flew to Berlin, Germany with her mom for the NBA Berlin Game 2026 between the Orlando Magic and Memphis Grizzlies.
Although not part of the Magic’s traveling party, Reese was spotted in Berlin supporting her boyfriend, Magic big man Wendell Carter Jr.
As the mother-daughter duo explored the city, Reese wore a white dress paired with a black jacket, while her mom kept it simple in an all-black outfit. It didn’t take long for WNBA fans on social media to comment on Reese’s appearance.
@MarkLavore18767 didn’t hold back, saying, “She has to be the ugliest woman in sports today!!!”

@SWEATYRUS added, “Bro she looks like a man.”
Not all reactions were negative. @Deeneay offered praise, writing, “The mother is also an Angel in human body.”
Reese is currently on an extended break from basketball after opting out of the second season of Unrivaled, choosing instead to focus on improving her game while spending more time with family and her boyfriend. Carter is set to appear in the NBA Berlin Game following Orlando’s 128-118 win over the Grizzlies.

“It’s a scam”: WNBA fans crack jokes on Angel Reese’s newest investment
The jokes didn’t stop with Reese’s Berlin appearance. WNBA fans also took aim at her latest business move.
According to Athlete Vanity, Reese and Nigerian singer Rema invested last week in skincare brand Topicals, which recently closed a funding round pushing its total raised to over $20 million since launch.
While the investment added another business notch to Reese’s growing portfolio, critics still found room to mock it.
@Kingham100 commented, “So its a scam.”

@massart_gael joked, “Can she also sign with moustache removal products?”
And @Richard50694135 went harsher, asking, “How do people think she is attractive? I don’t understand.”
Topicals now joins a long list of Reese’s investments, which includes DC Power FC in the Gainbridge Super League and Togethxr, a media and commerce company centered on women’s sports.
She’s also landed major partnerships with McDonald’s, Victoria’s Secret, the Hershey Company, and Reebok, which launched her signature shoe line last September.
