WNBA fans were swooning over Angel Reese when she hit the ramp as a Victoria’s Secret model. Reese became the first professional athlete to walk on the show. Fans all over the world were happy to see their star player create history off the court as well.

While it was a great moment for Reese and one to be remembered forever, some think that it was not the right choice to have a WNBA star walk instead of a model. There’s no secret that models work their lives to be a part of Victoria’s Secret. For Reese, that opportunity simply found her.

Recently, a model took a shot at Reese, saying it was unfair to other models who have been working hard to get there. The model went on an epic rant, and several WNBA fans felt that she had a valid point.

“Just because you have a pretty face, does not mean you should be walking the Victoria’s Secret runway,” the model said on X.

She further questioned the casting agency “DM Casting” on their approach. WNBA fans backed the model for voicing her opinion. Here are some reactions from X.

“She has a point especially the athletes. Imagine a model suiting up for a wnba team, players would literally not play,” one fan wrote.

“Definitely has a point!” another fan wrote.

“She’s right ns it’s like when they pull strippers and reality stars and put them in the booth now all of a suddent they’re supposedly competing with the top dogs who’se been putting in the work for years,” another fan wrote.

WNBA Fans Continued To Agree With The Model’s Opinion

While some WNBA fans called out the model, saying it hates Angel Reese and Suni Lee, some continued to support her point.

“I mean… she has a point. A lot of us work extremely hard to get into the fields we’re in and it’s extremely frustrating to see opportunities handed to people who haven’t worked as hard for it,” one fan said.

“She’s 100% right but thats just life things aren’t always fair, infact things are usually unfair. Reese, Suni and others are celebrities and because of that they will be gifted opportunities that others worked their asses off for years hoping to get. That’s just how it is,” another fan wrote.

    “It’s true,” wrote another fan.

Angel Reese has a huge fan following. While some sympathized with the model, many disagreed with her stance.
