The Dallas connection between Paige Bueckers and Cooper Flagg is starting to build, but WNBA fans quickly sounded the alarm after a fan page made a questionable pairing.
During an interview, Flagg praised Bueckers after she showed up at a Mavericks game: “She obviously had an incredible rookie season. She’s going to do amazing things with her career. It’s kind of cool for her to show up.”

The caption of the post, however, read:
“Cooper Flagg and Paige Bueckers need to get married.” That’s when WNBA fans pushed back.
@nolimit_EV reminded everyone by saying, “She likes girls dude.”

@mor53943625 also pointed out, “Paige is with azzi lol.”
And @datadynamix_ offered a suggestion and said, “Naw coop needs a Latina.”
On the court, both rookies have been stellar. Cooper Flagg is averaging 19.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.9 assists in 32 games for Dallas. Bueckers capped her first WNBA season with Rookie of the Year honors, putting up 19.2 points, 5.4 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game.
“Not on Her Bucket List”: WNBA Fans Criticize Paige Bueckers’ Logo
Beyond the Mavericks connection, Paige Bueckers has been busy building her brand. Nike recently filed a trademark for her “bucket” logo, which resembles a bucket with her initials, PB, hidden in it. WNBA fans weren’t impressed.

@TheWatchdogDBQ said, “Prob NOT on her bucket list. Even tho it’s a damn bucket.

@8Atrain added, “All kinds of bad here. Looks like someone drew it using Microsoft Paint.”
And @waffleguy323 was baffled, saying, “Can’t believe Paige signed off on this. It’s comically bad.”
Whether it’s her Dallas appearances or her branding push, Paige Bueckers continues to draw strong reactions from WNBA fans — proof that her presence is impossible to ignore.
