WNBA Fans have never spent a day without throwing jabs at Angel Reese. This time, it’s on her latest X/Twitter post approving of the Chicago Bears after their comeback victory against the Green Bay Packers at the NFL Wild Card playoffs. Since playing for the Chicago Sky, Reese has rallied behind the city’s sports teams, but as always, the Fans had their stunts.
One user, @ChitoGamingLive, called Reese out for supporting the wrong team, boldly joking, “Aren’t you a ravens fan? na don’t come to this side,” referring to Reese’s hometown of Baltimore, where the NFL’s Ravens play.

User @NahNahRich13 also wrote, “You’re from Maryland , stop it Angel.”
User @SportFan1983 also posted, “Showing her bandwagon.”
User @FAFO38 remarked, “Girl wasnt you just rooting AGAINST chicago when yo “man” was playing the Bulls?” referring to when Reese’s boyfriend, Wendell Carter Jr., played against the Bulls last January 2. Carter, playing for the Orlando Magic, scored seven points that night.
However, despite the hate some of the WNBA Fans had for Reese, she actually has a history with the Chicago Bears, the team she supported. She had once publicly stated her friendship with the Bears’ QB, Caleb Williams, praising his unique self-expression. Williams also boasts his beautifully painted nails, which made by the same nail tech as Reese’s.
Adding to Reese and Williams’ friendship is the fact that both of them are the undisputable faces of their own leagues. They are also both drafted as the first overall picks in the same year, 2024. Their deep love for Chi-Town is undeniable, bringing them to stardom both on and off the court.

And much to some WNBA Fans‘ dismay, the majority of them on Reese’s post were overwhelmingly positive in their comments. The Fans this time have acknowledged Reese’s nod to the Bears’ clutch victory, while showing love to her at the same time.
One user, @gingahman23, made it clear that Reese is heavily welcomed by the Chicago fans, writing, “She Chicago Ninja!!! Leave her Alone. She is One of the Biggest Stars we Got in Chicago!!!”

Meanwhile, user @skitnem44 admitted to Reese bringing relevance to Chicago basketball, commenting, “1 of 3 relevant hoopers in chicago I think she can say what she want.” User @nitadjc also slammed WNBA Fans who always find a way to bash Reese, writing, “You act like people can’t be a fan of more than one team.”
Reese’s latest post, even if it isn’t about the W, just made it clear that WNBA Fans are always finding a way to throw jabs at her.
