WNBA fans did not mince words in blasting Angel Reese, as she made her acting debut in a new thriller film, albeit in a small cameo role only.
In a post by one X fan account, Angel Reese was celebrated as she marked another milestone in her career, which was a cameo in a new movie starring Idris Elba. However, some WNBA fans were not in a celebratory mood.
“Still not over this look from Angel Reese at the ‘A House of Dynamite’ premiere,” the post caption read.
“She looks like a guy trying to look like a woman,” one fan said in response.

Angel Reese made her acting debut in a cameo role in Kathryn Bigelow’s nuclear disaster thriller “A House of Dynamite,” which premiered at the Venice Film Festival and earned an extended standing ovation in the festival’s Sala Grande.
Reese appears in the film’s third chapter during a White House scene in which President Idris Elba visits a basketball court at Liberty Arena, shoots hoops with Reese and a group of girls, and briefly discusses how sports changed his life before being pulled away by an unfolding crisis.
In her podcast “Unapologetically Angel,” Reese talked about her experience shooting the camera, and admitted to wanting to explore a career in acting more.
“That was really fun,” she said. “My little acting part in there was cool and I do really want to get into acting. During my [basketball] career and also after my career. That experience was really fun. Those days are long. Like even for my little acting part, the little part I did do, was a long, long, long time. So it took a lot to do that.”
Outside of his career with the WNBA, Resse has already explored modelling and has appeared in a number of music videos as well.

Over at X, WNBA fans did not hesitate to blast Angel Reese, despite her making her acting debut in a new thriller Netflix film.

One fan expressed being burnt out with how Reese has been constantly pushed, this time as an actress.
“So tired,” they said with a yawning emoji. “Angel Reese is a nobody that plays basketball. She’s not even the best player on her own team. Stop”
As the league goes into the offseason, WNBA fans are looking forward to players’ movement, such as that of Angel Reese with the Chicago Sky.
