WNBA fans are trolling Napheesa Collier for her latest remarks on the CBA negotiations between W players and the league. Collier recently spoke with Yahoo! Sports’ Hoops 360 and mentioned that there is still a possibility that the players might completely boycott the season altogether.

Fans have different opinions on Collier’s remarks, with many saying that she does not have the right to speak about other players since she heads the Unrivaled League. Other players in the association do not have this luxury.

“You never know what’s going to happen. If there’s not a season, we want to make sure everyone’s prepared. So hopefully, everyone has been doing that. That’s something everyone’s been talking about for a really long time. Also, that’s something that everyone checks in with because options change over time. We want a season to happen, but if we don’t get the things that we want to stay 10 toes down on, then we’re going to sit out for as long as that takes. That’s not what anyone wants, but it’s what we’re willing to do to get things that we feel are fair.” Napheesa Collier said.

“She shouldn’t even be in negotiations since she’s a head of unrivaled,” one fan said.

“If Napheesa Collier is ready to sit out, that’s either players finally flexed power – or a gamble that risks the league they’re trying to save.” One more fan appreciated Collier.

“At what point do the business’ x’s and o’s and greater good take center stage over green & stubbornness. The tone and number crunching isn’t making a lot of financial success for the growth and long term health of the W. I love the W. And have since 1997. But man. Money is ugly.” one fan questioned.

WNBA Fans Continue To React To Phee’s Remarks About CBA

WNBA fans are continuing to come up with reactions about Napheesa Collier’s latest remarks about the CBA negotiations. It seems like many fans are genuinely worried about the W and hope that the players don’t actually boycott the season.

“The league claims they are projected to gross $250 mil in 2026. Based on the salary increase they offered, that’s 25% of gross revenue. Why not agree to the 31% gross revenue (to start) and deduct salary from that. Show the books at the end of the year and pay out the excess gross,” one fan explained.

“Napheesa Collier should be banned from the WNBA.” one fan said.

“This league needs new leadership.” Another fan said.

Ever since Napheesa Collier started taking up a leadership role with the W in the negotiations, the baller has been getting plenty of hate. Many fans feel that Phee definitely has no leadership nor negotiation skills and that someone else should take charge.
