WNBA Fans quickly turned Caitlin Clark’s NBC debut into meme territory after a short shooting segment with Jamal Crawford made the rounds online. What started as a light head-to-head ended up pulling in rival names and predictable chaos in the comments.

The nearly three-minute clip was shared by @CClarkReport, captioned, “Caitlin Clark and Jamal Crawford went head to head in ‘N-B-C.’” The segment showed Clark and Crawford trading shots and laughs, clearly meant to be fun. WNBA Fans agreed on that part, at least at first.

Then the replies went sideways. @GPinTN1 brought Angel Reese into the conversation, writing, “Wouldn’t it be funny if they had Angel Reese do this instead? Hahahahaha the thought of her bricking everything and talking all ghetto just makes me laugh.” The comment drew attention fast, not just for the comparison, but for how far removed it was from the actual clip.

Other WNBA Fans leaned fully into the joke side of it. @Daxson_12 replied confidently, “He stands no chance vs Angel.” That take flipped the original comment on its head and kept the Reese-versus-everyone theme alive.

The moment shows how fast online reactions can drift. The segment isn’t just about Crawford versus Clark. For WNBA Fans, it became another example of how Clark content attracts comparisons, jokes, and rival narratives whether they fit or not.

WNBA Fans Praise Caitlin Clark’s Shooting In NBC Segment With Jamal Crawford

While some replies chased jokes and side debates, many WNBA Fans stayed locked on what Caitlin Clark actually did during the NBC segment with Jamal Crawford.

Several comments focused on the shots themselves. @h0m3r83 kept it simple, posting, “CC is a baller!” That sentiment showed up repeatedly as WNBA Fans rewatched Clark hit shots under casual pressure.

Others were more specific. @lifeunlockcoach reacted to Clark outshooting Crawford in several rounds, saying, “Damn, she can really shoot! Love this!”

Range became the talking point soon after. @Jahbreezy215 summed it up with, “Clark really got range.” That line echoed across replies as WNBA Fans pointed out that some of her makes came from spots where even Crawford struggled.

What stood out most was the contrast in reactions. While some WNBA Fans turned the clip into meme fuel, others treated it as proof of skill. The shots were real, the misses were real, and Clark didn’t shy away from the challenge.

For WNBA Fans who care less about comparisons and more about performance, the segment delivered exactly that. A relaxed setting, a respected former player, and Caitlin Clark doing what she does best, letting the shots speak.
