WNBA fans are poking fun at Angel Reese, unsurprisingly, for retweeting her own tweet from about a year ago. Reese shared a tweet a year back that sometimes fans love her online presence, but do not actually like her in person.

The W star seems to have had another similar experience recently and decided to use her own words from before to describe her situation. Of course, this being Angel Reese, her tweet had to become the subject of a joke.

“they hate you online but love you in person,” Angel Reese tweeted a year back.

“EXACTLY,” Reese wrote when she re-tweeted her own post.

“I’m crying (crying emoji)” Hoopss tweeted in reaction.

“She’s her number one support (laughing with tears emoji, shrugging emoji)” one fan said.

“She can rebound? I know she can flip a mean #BigMac” another fan joked, sharing an AI picture of Reese in a McDonald’s uniform.

“She only rebounds her shots” one more fan added.

Meanwhile, WNBA fans were merciless to the X user ‘Hoopss’ themselves, who have been known for building up such a hatred toward Angel Reese that they continue taking shots at the hooper all the time. Some fans pointed out that it is not just Reese who is guilty of making rebounds all the time, but this particular user as well.

“Same thing that you do btw” one fan pointed out.

“Man this guy is obsessed with Angel Reese” another fan highlighted.

“Omg (crying emoji x4, folded hands emoji) Bro didn’t have to cook so bad” one more fan echoed.

Angel Reese has clearly received more than her share of trolling, when compared to many other hoopers in the W. Whether it is her fashion choices, her social media presence, her collabs and even on-court performances, the baller has been mercilessly trolled, especially by many fans of Caitlin Clark, her assumed rival.

Despite this, it has been refreshing to see Reese continue to shine in all her endeavors. Recently, Reese became the first professional athlete to walk the Victoria’s Secret rampwalk, motivating many other athletes to try for a shot as well. Reese was also spotted recently at a Knicks game, where she promoted the Reese’s Oreo Cups candy along with Paige Bueckers.
