WNBA fans are strongly calling out an X user for their heavy criticism of Aliyah Boston. The user stated that they did not like the way Boston plays ball, which led to hordes of fans fuming in wrath in the responses.

Aliyah Boston, of course, has managed to create a legacy of her own in the W with her incredible skills, but seems to have peeved off many for simply being too aggressive on the court. Some fans even felt that the user was actually being racist when she condemned Boston.

“I really hate the way Aliyah Boston plays basketball,” annabethpond3 tweeted.

“You hate her cause she’s Black. I hate how Paige flops and foul baits,” one fan clapped back.

“Is a DT stan complaining about a player being physical and their perception that dirty play is occurring?” another fan referred to Diana Taurasi’s reputation in the league.

“Other than her occasional foul play and elbows, I actually like her game…to me, Sarah Strong is a more polished and skilled AB.” One more fan opinionated.

It looks like many W fans are not too happy with Aliyah Boston being too pushy on the court. Boston is not the only player to be labeled as such. Legends like Diana Taurasi also created a label for themselves due to similar habits, earning her the nickname ‘Dirty Diana.’

WNBA Fans Also Agree With The Criticism Of Aliyah Boston

On the other hand, many WNBA fans also sided with the tweet criticizing Aliyah Boston’s game on the court. From the responses, it is clear as day that a large percentage of basketball fans still feel that players should not be too aggressive on the court, especially when it comes to the W.

“I don’t hate the way she plays because it’s your job as a player to try to break the rules and make the refs stop you, I just don’t like that she complains when she is clearly breaking rules. Just foul and then go down court, you know what you did. (smiling face with tightly closed eyes emoji)” one fan said.

“like, reallyyy hate the way she play basketball,” one more fan added.

“Sh*t I hate how Reese plays basketball also,” another fan brought their opinion of Angel Reese’s game.

Of course, most of the responses were in favor of Boston’s game, with many choosing to call the X user ‘soft.’ Meanwhile, Boston has been killing it in this season of the Unrivaled, but unfortunately lost to Breeze BC in the first game of the campaign.
