WNBA Fans had always seen Sophie Cunningham as a loud, very outspoken player, whether on and off the court. It doesn’t come as a surprise if Cunningham chimed in when icon Snoop Dogg was one of the anchors on the game between the GS Warriors and the LA Clippers.
On an X/Twitter clip shared by Yahoo Sports, Snoop didn’t hold back when he covered the Warriors’ coach, Steve Kerr, being ejected from the court in the fourth quarter. The clip instantly became viral online, with WNBA Fans loving the music legend’s signature, laid-back delivery.
Cunningham was one of those Fans.
She reposted the clip and wrote “hahaha my broadcasting career inspo.” WNBA Fans quickly backed her up, with user @breadandwaturd commenting, “Sophie x Snoop commentary when,” looking forward to a legendary collaboration between the two stars. User @jrmxjrm was in support of this, writing, “Yes, please.”

More WNBA Fans weighed in on Cunningham’s comment.
“I think Sophie could beat up Steve Kerr if she really wanted to,” one user joked.
“Would love it as much as your modeling one!” one user remarked, bringing up how Cunningham often appears in fashion endorsements.
“You gonna call games like that, I’m tuning in every night [laugh emoji],” one user commented.

And the best part? The WNBA Fans might be right on track here. Cunningham, if not, is one of the most experienced commentators in the league. During her time at Phoenix, she served as an analyst for Suns Live! pre-game to post-game coverages. Right now, she is a co-host at the podcast “Show Me Something,” analyzing all things WNBA.
While a collaboration with Snoop Dogg, which the WNBA Fans are hoping for, seems far-fetched nowadays, it would be a cool thing if Cunningham at least mentions or invites him in one of her videos.
WNBA Fans seize on Paige Bueckers after revealing sneaky antics
On the other side, WNBA Fans are a bit disappointed as Paige Bueckers, currently playing for the Breeze BC at Unrivaled, revealed that she is working on getting more chances at the free-throw line through the signature foul bait, seeking inspiration from NBA star Shai-Gilgeous Alexander.
This single statement was enough to set the WNBA Fans on fire, but user @sidelpm seems to have expected this. They wrote, “Lol she already a foul baiter, nothing new here.” Meanwhile, user @HCrown97666 backed it up, commenting, “Paige SGA whistle coming to the W soon.”

Yet, despite the concerns from the WNBA Fans, Bueckers rose up as she led the Breeze BC with 24 points to their first victory against the Phantom BC. Hype or hate, she is still one of the best on the court.
