When comparing the stats of the two players, it was highlighted that Ionescu easily ranks at least seven points higher than the Fever legend. Fans have been showing different reactions to the tweet, with some siding with the account, while others called it out.

WNBA fans are also showing displeasure at ‘trendyhoopstars’ frequent attacks on Caitlin Clark. The account has become infamous among Clark fans for constantly attacking the Fever icon and this particular tweet has not sat well with fans.

Despite Caitlin Clark being practically a newcomer to the W, the icon has already managed to create a legacy already. At the same time, Ionescu has amassed many fans of her own, even though she has long-since retired from the sport.
