WNBA fans made sure Caitlin Clark didn’t “slip up” over the weekend when she showed up at the Indianapolis Colts’ home game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Colts honored the Indiana Fever for their incredible run to the semifinals — where they nearly dethroned the powerhouse Las Vegas Aces — by gifting Fever stars Clark, Aari McDonald, and Makayla Timpson customized Colts jerseys.
McDonald and Timpson happily wore theirs. Clark, however, decided to simply hold hers up — and that was all fans needed to spark some fun online.

One fan joked,
“Taylor Swift told Caitlin, you better not put that jersey on!”
“She’s still a Chief at heart.”

Of course, Clark meant no disrespect to Indy. Her loyalty just runs deep for the Kansas City Chiefs — and her friendship with Taylor Swift has made that fandom even stronger. The Fever guard has often been spotted cheering for the Chiefs, even appearing in Swift’s suite during Travis Kelce’s games.
It’s all love from Indiana fans, though — Clark’s bond with the city remains solid, jersey or not.
“Unrivaled Needs Caitlin. She Does Not Need Unrivaled”: WNBA Fans React To Clark Skipping 3-on-3 League Again
For the second straight year, WNBA fans won’t see Caitlin Clark suit up in Unrivaled, the 3-on-3 league co-founded by Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier.
Despite being offered a “Messi-like” seven-figure deal with equity and revenue sharing, Clark turned it down, focusing instead on her health and upcoming Team USA commitments.

“There’s some USA Basketball stuff I need to get ready for, and I need to be able to find some runs and some ways to play 5-on-5 just so I can get that feel back,” Clark said. “But more than anything, I think my main focus is really just getting my body healthy.”
Fans were split over her decision.
One wrote,

Another added,
“Not really breaking news. She’s said before she’s not a fan of 3-on-3 basketball. It’s just not her thing.”
A third focused on her recovery:
“I don’t blame Caitlin Clark. She needs to heal fully, plus her net worth is probably more than the entire Unrivaled league.”
Unrivaled’s second season tips off January 5, expanding to eigh

t teams and 48 players. Even without Clark, the league’s momentum continues — but her absence will definitely be felt.
