Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson took a moment to reflect on her incredible journey through 2024, a year that solidified her status as a leading figure in the WNBA. From winning her third MVP award to earning a gold medal at the Paris Olympics, she celebrated her many accomplishments as she welcomed the New Year.

In 2024, Wilson solidified her status as one of the most dominant players in women’s basketball, earning the title of Sports Illustrated’s WNBA Player of the Year. It was a remarkable year for Wilson, marked by a series of historic achievements that included breaking multiple records during the season and winning her third MVP award unanimously. In addition to her on-court success, she also became a New York Times Bestselling Author with her debut book, further showcasing her multifaceted talents.

Wilson’s exceptional performance led Team USA to victory at the Paris 2024 Olympic Summer Games, where she secured her second gold medal. Throughout the season, she set a single-season record of 1,021 points and 451 rebounds, while also leading the league in average blocks with 2.6 per game. Her influence in the sport was undeniable, and she continued to elevate her brand, extending her contract with Nike for six more years and announcing her first signature shoe, the A’One, set to debut in 2025.

In the realm of sports collectibles, Wilson’s cards gained significant attention, reflecting her growing legacy. The top three highest-selling cards of 2024 showcased her popularity among collectors. Leading the pack was the 2018 Rittenhouse WNBA A’ja Wilson Rookie Inscription Autograph Game Action card, which sold for an impressive $5,400 on eBay. This card exemplified her early promise and the anticipation surrounding her career.
