Fans had mixed reactions to Angel Reese’s custom Reebok sneakers featuring a rose design, which she debuted ahead of the Unrivaled league. While some praised the unique aesthetic, others expressed differing opinions on the overall style as Reese prepared for her new basketball venture.

Reese made headlines ahead of her debut in the Unrivaled league with the reveal of her custom Reebok sneakers, designed to reflect her vibrant personality and the spirit of her team. Created by Marvin Baroota, the founder of SoLegit Customs, the sneakers featured a striking design adorned with pink roses against a predominantly green background. This unique aesthetic not only showcased Reese’s style but also symbolized her connection to the Roses B.C., the team she played for in the new 3-on-3 women’s basketball league.

The collaboration highlighted Reese’s influence in the sport and her ability to inspire young athletes. The sneakers encapsulated her journey and aspirations, drawing attention to the growing prominence of women’s basketball.

As excitement built for the league’s inaugural season, Reese’s custom sneakers became a focal point for fans and media alike. Reese expressed pride in wearing these custom kicks, emphasizing the importance of personal expression through athletic gear.

“Meh. The green 🤢 and the placement of the roses are awkward,” CK said.

“Man idk 🤷🏽‍♀️ not feeling these !! Love the color but the roses are too much tbh,” miguelina posted.

“I like these! I love outside the box designs 🔥” Denishia McGruder shared.

“You’ve done it again! 🐐” TJ noted.

“(For safety purposes) Perhaps you can paint the roses on the shoe (like the Reese’s pieces candy), rather than gluing them on top of the shoes,” Lyn added.

“i’m loving the colors (my two fav colors too) 🤩🌹” riahhh mentioned.

“Gahhhhdamn these so tuff,” emz reacted.

The league officially kicked off, and Reese showcased her new sneakers during the games. The event was a celebration of talent and innovation, with Reese’s footwear contributing to the overall excitement surrounding the league. Fans eagerly anticipated seeing how her performance would match the boldness of her style.
