Even though Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark is having a hard time getting some wins for her team, she’s still showcasing a lot of talent on the court. But when it comes to facing kids, the WNBA star has no problem destroying them at all.

Clark’s impact was felt even before her WNBA debut as she excelled during her four-year college career. The Iowa Hawkeyes’ standout player accomplished an extraordinary feat, surpassing Pete Maravich’s record to become the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer. However, her final year ended on a disappointing note with the Hawkeyes falling short against the South Carolina Gamecocks in the championship round.

Nonetheless, Clark’s exceptional talent led to her being selected as the first overall pick by the Indiana Fever in the 2024 WNBA Draft. The anticipation surrounding her debut reached unprecedented heights, resulting in lucrative endorsement deals and contributing to advancements such as chartered flights for players.

Recently, Clark’s exclusion from Team USA sparked discussions among various personalities. The finalized roster now includes A’ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Diana Taurasi, Brittney Griner, Alyssa Thomas, Napheesa Collier, Jewell Loyd, Kelsey Plum, Jackie Young, Sabrina Ionescu, Chelsea Gray, and Kahleah Copper. With this assembly of talent, Team USA is widely expected to secure the gold medal, continuing the women’s team’s dominance since 1996.

Although Clark isn’t having the best time in the league and she’s not part of Team USA, the Indiana Fever rookie still knows how to have fun. In a video posted by Bri Lewerke on X, though, that kind of fun came at the expense of a young kid.

Over the course of 13 games this regular season, the former Iowa Hawkeyes guard averaged 16.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.5 steals per contest. His efficiency on the court is another matter as she’s only hitting 37 percent from the field, 33 percent from deep, and 89 percent from the free throw line.

As the season goes along, Clark’s woes as a rookie aren’t projected to end yet. In any case, the Fever star is expected to rise through those challenges and prove how resilient she can be.
