The way a team performs against big time opponents is one way to measure if they are ready to contend for the title. Minnesota Timberwolves are failing in that department so far. Is there something to be worried? Julius Randle remains calm.

The Wolves are currently 8-0 versus teams below .500 and 0-5 against teams above that line. Some of those games did not have Anthony Edwards who missed four games.
are currently 8-5 which is good enough for a sixth place spot in the Western Conference. However, their losses leave fans questioning the strength of the team. Their five losses came from the Los Angeles Lakers (2 times), Denver Nuggets (2 times), and the New York Knicks.

Anthony Edwards missed four games, two of them led to losses.
Julius Randle says they will figure things out
It’s a long season and Wolves have played just 13 games so far out of 82. The team is aware of how they are performing against supposed contenders but they are not worried.
Randle, who is healthier than last season having played all their games so far, said they will figure things out.
“The NBA is the NBA, this is the toughest league as long as I’ve been in it… we typically play well in big games, we just haven’t this year so far,” he said via a report by Zone Coverage reporter Andrew Dukowitz.

“If there’s anything I know about this team at all, we’ll adjustment it and make corrections and be ready for those moments in the future.”
Wolves will try to get back to winning ways when they meet the skidding Dallas Mavericks.
