The Minnesota Timberwolves fall to the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday and forward Julius Randle thinks it happened because they were not on the same page.
The Timberwolves are now 5-5 in their last 10 and have been losing games against they have no business losing. They were blown out by the Clippers, 96-115, after a lethargic second and third quarter where they were outscored 17 points by their hosts. Kawhi Leonard torched with 41 points.

They lost to teams like the Ja Morant-less Memphis Grizzlies and New Orleans Pelicans.
Randle thought the current rough stretch their going through is because of the lack of togetherness within the squad.
“I think just a collective focus and togetherness. I think we’re at our best when we’re a connected group and we’re all focused and on the same page,” he told reporters post-game.
“When we’re motivated, we play really well… You can feel the energy and the difference when we’re all connected and we’re all focused and on one mission and on the same page. And you can feel the difference when it’s not. That’s why we have these ups and downs as a team.”

The loss comes two days after Rudy Gobert spoke about the team’s lack of effort and accountability, something coach Chris Finch thought should have been kept in the locker room.
Ant-man’s take vs Julius Randle’s
While Randle is about the cohesion and energy, Anthony Edwards has a different take.
Ant-man previously attributed the losses to the lack of energy but this time for him, it is more about the offense.

After in previous games attributing the Wolves’ bad losses to a lack of energy and effort, Anthony Edwards said he thought tonight’s game was about the offense not hitting any shots — he brought up his 11 missed shots multiple times in his interview — and not about the energy.… pic.twitter.com/bn1o2aMqMQ

The Wolves barely have time to regroup as they take on the Atlanta Hawks on Monday.
