Reality TV star Natalie Nunn dropped a bombshell on Cam Newton’s Funky Friday Podcast that nobody knew until now. She somehow unintentionally disclosed that Shaquille O’Neal bought her first car back in college as a friend, a convertible Volkswagen Beetle, which was worth about $21,000.

But Newton wasn’t buying the platonic friendship angle. His facial expression changed instantly following the wild confession. Viewers thought his reaction made it obvious he believed there was more secret in the story.
Cam Newton Doubts Natalie Nunn’s Platonic Story on Shaquille O’Neal Buying Her First Car
The conversation started innocently enough. Newton and Nunn were discussing Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander, another reality star who famously dated O’neal. That’s when Nunn casually mentioned her own connection to the former Los Angeles Lakers legend, and an innocent conversation turned wild and doubtful for a moment.
“Shaq bought me my first car,” Nunn said.
Newton brought up her and Shaq’s past relationship and his face told everything about the explosive assumption running through his brain. The former NFL QB immediately threw out the most obvious question.
“You dated Shaq?” Newton asked.

Nunn shut down Newton’s thought quickly. She denied ever having a romantic relationship with the four-time NBA champion. The reality TV star explained she was a USC Trojans women’s soccer player in 2004 when they met.
“He bought me a bug. It was a convertible little bug,” Nunn revealed.
USC isn’t far from Crypto.com Arena and Lakers players regularly attended college games back then. But Newton was still unconvinced about the narrative. The timing seemed too perfect to raise red flags.
“Something isn’t adding up,” Newton said with serious doubt in his face.
O’Neal admitted to serial cheating in his 2011 memoir “Shaq Uncut: My Story.” He wrote that he was “a guy with too many options.” His ex-wife Shaunie Henderson detailed his countless affairs in her memoir “Undefeated.”

Newton cast his doubt based on that well-known history. The former quarterback looked pretty sure that Nunn might have been one of O’Neal’s side pieces during the marriage. His facial expressions and body language throughout the exchange suggested he wasn’t accepting her story at face value.
