Boston Celtics swingman Jaylen Brown feels he’s not getting the plaudits he deserves, especially after bringing home the Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors for Week 7.

During a recent Twitch livestream, Brown kept it real about how flopping gets rewarded in today’s NBA. The Boston Celtics asked the chat if he wants to start flopping to have a chance of winning his first league MVP trophy.
“If you wanna be a great player, you gotta sell your soul,” Brown said. “You gotta be a flopper. If you wanna be an MVP, you wanna be top of the top, you gotta sell your soul and just be a flopper.”

“Y’all want me to be on that? I can do it,” he continued. “I can start going to practice and like working on throwing my head (back)… As soon as somebody touch me, (I’ll shout), ‘Hey.’”
Boston Celtics News: Jayson Tatum goes viral for recent workout videos
Jayson Tatum posted videos to his Instagram story of himself playing 1-on-1 at the Auerbach Center. The Boston Celtics forward looked spry, leaving fans speculating whether he’ll make a late-season return.

During a recent appearance of the “Zolak and Bertand” Show on 98.5 The Sports Hub, Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla commended Tatum for his work ethic and staying present for the team.
“He’s doing a heck of a job… His job right now is to put himself in position to come back when he’s healthy,” Mazzulla said. “The other thing that I really appreciate is the way he’s having leadership, being on the bench during the games. And so there’s never been a moment where it felt like he wasn’t with us, and I think that’s important as he continues to get better.”
