Bronny James stole the show on Sunday night when he managed a spectacular Alley-Oop with Austin Reaves against the Heat. The Lakers eventually won the game with Luka Doncic spearheading the offense, but it was Bronny who was the star of the night.
James and Reaves collaborated for an Alley-Oop right during the first quarter of the game, leaving the crowd roaring with glee. Not just the spectators at Crypto.com Arena, but even many fans on social media have been reacting positively to Bronny’s game on Sunday night. Meanwhile, Bronny’s girlfriend, Parker Whitfield, also celebrated her man’s win with an Instagram Story post, sharing the clip of the Alley-Oop.

“mmmm YAAAA!!!!” Parker Whitfield captioned her Instagram Story.
It was only natural that Whitfield would commend Bronny for his super-athletic Alley-Oop, especially since the fact that the couple has been going strong since last year. Apparently, things are getting serious between the two, with Bronny even managing to get the approval of Whitfield’s parents.
Meanwhile, fans have been reposting the same clip over and over again on social media, with many commending LeBron himself for his majestic genes. Others felt that even if LeBron James decides to retire all of a sudden, the Lakers are in safe hands with Bronny in their roster.
Bronny James’ Alley-Oop Does Not Impress Everyone
While Bronny James’ latest game for the Lakers had everyone turning their heads his way after the player not doing much so far this season, many fans did not feel the same way. Despite Bronny’s impressive Alley-Oop with Austin Reaves against the Heat, several fans felt that the player is simply too overrated as a baller.

Many other fans felt that Bronny has not played for enough duration in the season so far to be labeled as a great player. It is true that Bronny has not had much playing time in recent games, with this topic being the reason for the Lakers being called out by several fans.
Of course, many fans had to bring up nepotism since this is LeBron James’ own son being discussed here. LeBron and Bronny made history to play for the same team at the same time about a year back, a move which has gotten mixed reactions from both fans and analysts. Especially Stephen A. Smith has especially been steadfast in his opinion that Bronny needs to work on his game in the G-league before signing with the Lakers, something for which he has received plenty of flak from King James himself.
