Milwaukee Bucks, Doc Rivers, and Giannis Antetokounmpo all expressed faith in their roster before the start of the 2025-26 season. They have high level of belief that they can be dangerous and surprise people.
The surprise is there. Being dangerous is missing. They are now 9-13 and even lost to the lowly Washington Wizards on Monday. They also did not have the Greek Freak for 4.9 amount of games which they all lost.

Bucks don’t look like a contender at all and trouble is now brewing insider the organization as Antetokounmpo leave their fans feeling anxious after removing his social media posts. Some thought the worst is about to happen – Giannis leaving them.
Antetokounmpo getting out of this misery is being discussed. However, for former NBA player Lou Williams, the two-time MVP should reflect first because he has a role in all this.
“I’ve got to be honest, he’s part of the mess,” Williams said in the Run it Back show.
“He’s part of the mess, right? Like, my thing is the separation between Giannis and the Bucks, there’s a separation between what we’re talking about.
“Every decision that was made for them to be in the position that they are in, he was a part of it, he sat at the table.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo needs accountability
Bucks had failures before. Most notable was when they were upset by the 8th seed Miami Heat in the first round of 2023 playoffs. Antetokounmpo was asked why he did not volunteer to defend Jimmy Butler and answered that he only follows the coach’s call.
There are many other times that the 2021 Finals MVP leave everything to the coaches or the front office, including roster construction.
Williams thought it is a high time for Antetokounmpo to own up to the decisions made by him or for him.

“At some point there has to be accountability from your best player on the team, to your coach, to your management, and look in the mirror and say, how did we get to this position?” the veteran continued.
“I don’t like the feeling of it being a separation of accountability based on where the Milwaukee Bucks are.
“If Giannis is going to go to New York or go somewhere else and be happy, and the Milwaukee Bucks can reload with some young talent that the Knicks are willing to shed as well. I’m OK with that.”
