Caitlin Clark’s supporters didn’t hold back after news broke that Antonio Brown, one of her loudest online critics, was taken into custody for attempted murder.
According to TMZ Sports, the former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver had been wanted for four months before his arrest. The alleged victim, Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu, told authorities that Brown tried to shoot him during a May boxing event hosted by content creator Adin Ross.

For many Clark fans, it felt like karma had finally caught up to him.
“Isn’t he the prick that kept making those nasty jokes about Caitlin Clark??” one fan posted.
“This is the same person who sexually harassed Caitlin Clark for the past two years,” another commented.
A third added, “Caitvoodoo always hits.”

Their frustration traces back to Brown’s repeated, vulgar attacks on Clark. Over the past two years, he’s mocked her appearance and made crude remarks online.
“Caitlin Clark looks like she keep it hairy,” Brown once posted on social media.
Even when reports surfaced that Clark would miss the 2025 WNBA season, Brown couldn’t resist throwing in another jab.
“WNBA views declining faster than Dave Blunts health…” he tweeted.
“What game n***a”: Antonio Brown roasts Caitlin Clark fan over Sophie Cunningham’s viral video
Before his arrest, Brown often used his social platforms to ridicule Clark and other WNBA players, including Sophie Cunningham of the Indiana Fever.

When a fan praised a viral clip of Cunningham twerking, writing, “Sophie Cunningham I was not familiar with your game 😳,” Brown replied, “What game n***a.”
It was one of several instances where he mocked female athletes in the league.
Earlier this year, after reports that adult toys had been thrown onto WNBA courts, Brown seized the opportunity to take another shot at Clark. He edited a photo of her wearing a “Pay Us What You Owe Us” shirt — altering it to read, “Pay Us In Green Floppy D***s.”
For Clark’s fans, his arrest felt like poetic justice.
