Caitlin Clark might not have had a great sophomore season with the Fever in the former season, but many trainers still desperately want to work with the star. Chris Brickley, who has worked with numerous top stars in the league, revealed lately that he has desperately wanted to work with Clark ever since her rookie year.

However, things didn’t work out between them logistics-wise so well and Brickley was required to travel to Indianapolis all the way. Still, Brickley, who has formerly trained LeBron James and even Paige Bueckers, is optimistic about working in the near future with Clark. The celebrity trainer also went on to commend Clark for forever changing the way the WNBA is perceived.

“So Caitlin Clark…we’ve been talking for a few years. We were going to work last summer, but I was going to have to go to Indianapolis. And I respect it.” Chris Brickley said.

NBA trainer Chris Brickley on Caitlin Clark:

“I’m hoping now this off season that she’ll come to New York and we’ll get some work in…Man, she’s the reason why the WNBA has become so big. I’d love to work with her…and I love her competitiveness.” pic.twitter.com/XCrVWUsVBc

Chris Brickley is not the only one who has hailed Caitlin Clark as the savior of the WNBA. However, fans have repeatedly highlighted that it is not only Clark who has brought popularity ever since she stepped into the league. Several other players, including Angel Reese and Cameron Brink have also managed to increase the league’s popularity during their rookie seasons.

Caitlin Clark Dragged Into Mockery Of Angel Reese’s Tweet

Caitlin Clark has been forever pitted against Angel Reese with their intense rivalry going back to their NCAA days. Reese recently shared a tweet of her many achievements at just 23 years old, which rubbed many Clark fans the wrong way.

“Hooper. Model. Fashion Icon. Actress. Podcaster. Entrepreneur. Business Owner. Home Owner. All at 23. But, GOD. (praying hands emoji)” Angel Reese tweeted.

All at 23. But, GOD. 🙏🏽

The tweet seemed to itch many Caitlin Clark fans who felt an unnecessary need to bring their icon into this tweet of Reese’s. One fan went on to suggest that all of Angel Reese’s achievements came about as a result of Caitlin Clark, while another felt that Reese is only largely popular as a result of Clark.

The rivalry between the two players has been mainly ignited time and again by fans themselves. The rivalry is also not exactly so harmless, since it has also led to Reese being a recipient of many racist attacks by fans. At the same time, Clark’s popularity and crowd approval have only continued to increase as a result of the rivalry.
