WNBA star Caitlin Clark managed to pull over 27 million extra impressions for the LPGA, making her participation in the pro-am tournament at The Annika a massive hit. Following her successful outing in the competition, the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year is set to compete in another golf event.
The RSM Classic announced on Nov. 19 that Clark would be joining the PGA Tour event scheduled from Nov. 18 to 24 at Sea Island Golf Club in Georgia. She will be playing at the Speedway Putting Course behind the Lodge on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 3:30 p.m.

The Indiana Fever star’s presence in the LPGA has helped boost impressions for them this season. The impressions gathered by Clark’s presence added to LPGA’s 7 million social media impressions, combining to a rough total of 34 million.

Caitlin Clark made a successful debut in the WNBA last season. She helped lead the Fever’s return to the playoffs, their first time since 2016, earning her the Rookie of the Year award. Unfortunately, the Fever made an early exit in the first round of the postseason after the Connecticut Sun swept them.
23 of the league’s regular-season games had garnered over one million viewers, and Clark played in 20 of them. After helping the WNBA expand its viewership and fanbase last season, the Fever star is now helping bring more eyes to another women’s sporting event.

Fan that got hit by Caitlin Clark’s golf ball shares blood clot mark on social media
Caitlin Clark shared prior to participating in The Annika that she was worried she might hit someone with a golf ball. Unfortunately for her, her worst fears came true when she accidentally hit a fan watching the tournament.
During the game, the Indiana Fever star shanked a shot and hit Tracy Culbert in her shoulder. Clark hurriedly approached the fan and signed the golf ball as a token of apology.
While it was all an accident, Culbert took everything in stride. Instead, it held a special meaning to her, somehow taking pride in what happened. She took to TikTok to show the blood clot on her right shoulder, proudly saying that she inadvertently “gave Clark an assist.”
“When I got up at 4:30 this morning, [I] didn’t expect to give Caitlin an assist,” Culbert said in the video.

Culbert further said the incident left her with a “unique story and a keepsake.”
