The Chicago Bulls star center Nikola Vucevic has been linked to almost every team in need of a center. Before the Los Angeles Lakers secured Deandre Ayton as their starting center, Vucevic was linked to them. Even the Golden State Warriors have been mentioned as a potential trade destination for the European big man. However, they’ve been focused on fixing a deal for free agent forward Jonathan Kuminga.
However, there haven’t been any serious talks about a deal with the Bulls and potentially moving Vooch. The two-time All-Star is in the final year of his three-year, $60 million contract. Because of that, there have been talks that Chicago is willing to trade him rather than letting him walk away for nothing once his contract expires.
Recently, Vooch shut down any trade talks and rumors around him. He revealed that general manager Marc Eversley reached out to him and assured him that the rumors about a potential trade were false.

“The Bulls’ GM [Marc Eversley] had contacted me after all the rumors about me, confirmed that nothing was true and that everything we had said to each other after the season was still relevant. I knew it but it’s always nice when your GM contacts you to tell you…” the Chicago Bulls star said.
“There are always rumors. Most of them are false. It’s a bit of nonsense. For example, the buy-out was misinterpreted in Europe: the journalist wrote that if there was no ‘trade’ during the season, there might be a ‘buy-out’ option before the ‘deadline.’ I know how the business works, in the last year of a contract, there is always speculation. Since I can’t control anything, I try not to worry about it.”
There is concern regarding Josh Giddey’s contract talks with the Chicago Bulls

The contract negotiations between the Chicago Bulls and Josh Giddey have not been productive. The Australian guard wants a deal worth $120 million through four seasons. The most the Bulls have offered is a four-year, $80 million deal.
Recently, Bulls insiders Camron Smith and David Haugh discussed that it’s time for fans to have serious concerns regarding Giddey’s new deal.
“Training camp opens September 29th,” Smith said. “So if you’re a Bulls fan, if you get into the middle of August or late August, should you start to be concerned? For myself, yes, I’m starting to get concerned. Because as we sit on this day (in late August), you’re thinking, alright, as you get closer to training camp, what’s the mentality of Josh Giddey as he prepares for that?”

Chicago’s situation is similar to what the Golden State Warriors are experiencing with Jonathan Kuminga.
