Things are falling in the right places for Ivica Zubac after a career year with the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2024-25 season. He said that he is looking to improve and become a better passer after seeing a lot of touches playing with James Harden. Now, he found the perfect tag team to pass the ball to.

Zubac played 32.8 minutes per game last season and recorded career numbers across the board. He posted career highs of 16.8 points points and 12. 7 rebounds per game while only missing just two games. That is a lot of work to do for him.
He decided to be more versatile over the summer with the attention he is getting.
“In the post, I saw a lot of double-teams last year, so I want to be able to face up and see that double team and if the guys back off, I want to be able to shoot that little mid-range shot,” he said back in September.

“I want to be better with passing out of the double-team, finding the right man, and just trying to improve in everything that I did last year and years before.”
Ivica Zubac praises John Collins
Zubac put in the work to become a better passer and good thing for him, that work is not for nothing as he now got a power forward to receive his assists.
Clippers acquired John Collins in a trade with the Utah Jazz and was inserted into the offensive system as a sixth man. Zubac said he and the 19th overall pick have great dynamics.

“It felt good. Natural. As a big, I always like playing with a big four,” Zubac told reporters after their win over the Portland Trailblazers.
“Just kinda playing that 5-4 game. He was just making smart reads. They double me, he knew where to be.”
Harden and Kawhi Leonard will continue to be the main handler for the Clippers but so far, Zubac has shown improvement on his assist numbers. He currently has 10 assists in three games but he is playing lesser minutes now at 26.
