The Detroit Pistons are the hottest team in the NBA, as they’re on a 10-game winning streak en route to a 12-2 start to this season. The team managed to record a 127-112 win against the Indiana Pacers last night, despite missing Cade Cunningham (hip) and Ausar Thompson (ankle).

After the game, Isaiah Stewart said that their supporters deserve to enjoy their unbeaten run. The Detroit Pistons center also put the league on notice in the process.
“This is such a great city, such a great rich fanbase. I see fans from year one and two that are still here supporting us. It’s nice to be able to give them wins,” Stewart told Omari Sankofa II of The Detroit Free Press.

“It says a lot about our team. Shows how connected we are, how hungry we are and how bad we want it. We can win any game in any place,” he continued about the team’s winning streak.
Detroit Pistons News: Jalen Duren picked up where he left off vs. Indiana Pacers
Jalen Duren was the Detroit Pistons’ standout performer yesterday. Before the game against the Indiana Pacers, the 22-year-old missed the last two games due to an ankle injury. He set the tone for Detroit by contributing 31 points, 15 rebounds, and three assists on 12-for-13 shooting from the field and 7-for-11 shooting from the charity stripe.

“He’s just continued to dominate, and that’s the only way you can say it. The way he’s rebounding the ball through contact and in traffic, getting to the free throw line… he’s just playing a well-rounded game,” head coach JB Bickerstaff said of Duren.
“It’s the work we put in, I think it’s the summer work that we’ve put in. Obviously camaraderie and I think culture, honesty everything plays a part in it. It’s still early in the season, we have a long, long way to go,” Duren said.
