Phoenix Suns’ firebrand forward Dillon Brooks already met his former team Houston Rockets but it was the PHX Arena. They are going to visit the Toyota Center and Brooks feels differently about this game.

Brooks was traded to Phoenix alongside Jalen Green for Kevin Durant over the summer. He has been balling since he arrived in Arizona. He scored 29 points in the loss to the Rockets even if they lost.
He also had moments with his former coach Ime Udoka, showing that it is all business for him on the court.
The 2023 All Defensive Second Team member and the rest of the Suns will arrive in Houston with huge confidence after their huge win over the Los Angeles Lakers wherein he put up 33 points while also limiting Lebron James to just 10 points.
Brooks said he is extra motivated to play the Rockets not just because of his history with them but also because of his team having the confidence to go up against big teams.

“I’m hungry,” Brooks said as per Duane Rankin of AZ Central.
“Want to get a win over there. I think the guys want to win, too, against a great team. We’re going to be ready.”
Dillon Brooks had a great practice
Work for Brooks started more than 24 hours before the Friday match up. Head coach Jordan Ott saw the excitement in his player’s energy during practice.
“I assume his juices will be rolling tomorrow night,” Ott said.
They will need a lot of that energy from Brooks who is currently their second best scorer. This is because there’s still no assurance if Devin Booker will be able to play.

Booker, who puts up 25 points per game, had to leave the Lakers game in the first quarter due to a groin injury.
Ott said it was just a minor injury.
“He knows his body better than anyone. Super self-aware. He kind of felt it right away. Hopefully just a minor strain. Then to get it confirmed, I think that’s a relief to all of us.”
