Donovan Mitchell of the Cleveland Cavaliers had some undue attention on Sunday after he uncharacteristically skipped media interview after a game, which many says stems from their close defeat in the hands of the Boston Celtics.

He is back on the microphone and it is because he was not forced. It is because they are back in the winning column after taking care of business against the Indiana Pacers, 135-119. He, however, still refuses to celebrate.
“Honestly, this is what we should be doing. I don’t think this is anything to celebrate. No disrespect to the Indiana Pacers. Obviously they don’t have Tyrese [Haliburton],” he told the courtside reporter during interview after the final buzzer.
He also shared about his frustration in the last three games which the all lost.
“We should be coming out here doing this all the time, that’s what disappointing about the past 3 games. It’s great that we won but we just have to do it again.
Mitchell posted 43 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists.

They played without four key rotation guys namely Lonzo Ball, Darius Garland, Sam Merrill, and Jarrett Allen.
Donovan Mitchell thought the energy got better
Mitchell’s teammate Jaylon Tyson said yesterday that the issue behind their struggle is their commitment and sense of urgency.
The Cavs star felt that this time.
“Energy, effort, competing,” he responded when asked about the biggest difference between this game and the last ones.

“We obviously made shots which obviously helped. Defensive effort, communication, continue talking, especially being on the road in a quiet arena.
Cleveland will be mostly at home this week as they host the Portland Traiblazers, San Antonio Spurs, and the Golden State Warriors.
