Draymond Green’s Attitude and Future With Warriors Put Under Microscope After Series of Ejection and Misbehavior in Last 3 Games – ‘Offense Look Better Without [Him]’

The clock is ticking for the Golden State Warriors, as suggested by Steve Kerr, and so players should take advantage of their remaining time together. Looks like Draymond Green is not about ‘not taking things for granted’ after yet another ejection.

The 19-17 Warriors played the Utah Jazz on Saturday and still managed to win without Draymond Green who got two quick technical fouls, leading to his instant ejection. The last one was about the Jazz’s alleged three-second violation. He argued for it and instead gave an easy dunk by Lauri Markkanen.

Green hasn’t been that available for the Warriors lately either because of the coach’s call or his ejection. He got ejected three times going back to the last week of December.

    Draymond’s last few games:
    PHX: Ejected
    ORL: Ejected himself
    OKC: Rest
    UTA: Ejected

I’m sick of this guy. He’s a detriment to this team at least half the time now

    This game so far..

Warriors with Steph and Draymond on the floor:

    88.9 OffRtg
    144.4 DefRtg
    48.5% TS

    Steph on, Draymond off:

    179.4 OffRtg
    114.7 DefRtg
    81.6% TS

    Bro I can’t defend this

An interesting statline came out of this development. Many thought, backed up by numbers, Golden State Warriors are better off without him.

-15 in the minutes Draymond played until ejection

    +18 since

Time to move on from Draymond Green?

With this reuslt, some are putting forward the idea that maybe it is time to part ways with him. Green is one of the three remaining people from the 2010s Warriors Dynasty. Kerr and Stephen Curry are still there but people have no problems moving on from the 2017 Defensive Player of the Year.

Is it just me or does the Warriors offense look better without Draymond this season

    — Steph Curry Muse (@StephMuse_) January 4, 2026

This narrative that Kerr and Steph belive that they cant win without Draymond is foolish imo , success is momentary not continued 👊

I speak for everyone when I say we have moved passed the need for Draymond Green

The league has been trending in a direction of positional size AND skill for a decade …

With all due respect, Draymond checks neither box at this stage of his career

He is a low end starter or high level bench piece on a true contender
