Khris Middleton is performing quite good for the Washington Wizards. He is one of the veterans of the team, meant to guide the younger ones. He is doing that while also putting up good statline.

The three-time All-Star scored in double digits in the last three games he played and dished out around 5 assists in that span. Although he is working good for the Wizards, a rumor suddenly popped out, suggesting the sharpshotter’s time with them might end soon.
“Middleton, 34, has shown some signs of life lately, but no longer looks like a potential difference-maker for a contending team,” Joshua Robbins of The Athletic wrote.
“The majority of league sources whom The Athletic spoke with said they think Middleton’s most likely outcome is to remain with the Wizards through the deadline and be a buyout candidate.”

Middleton was moved to the Wizards in exchange for Kyle Kuzma after fruitful 11 seasons with the Bucks. He ended up as one of the team’s greatest, earning three All-Star nods and helping the team, together with Giannis Antetokounmpo, to win their second title
Khris Middleton is now a film producer
Middleton is 34 years old and him not being a difference maker might just be an assumption. In case he does not find a new team, he won’t have much problem financially as he now crossed over to the entertainment industry.
He is now a film producer and his latest project is a documentary titled “Hoops, Hopes & Dreams” that was shown on Hulu on January 19. Film synopsis reads:
The untold story about how Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and a team of civil rights activists took to basketball courts to connect with young voters.

Middleton said it is a job he easily said yes to because he feels great about the subject, too.
“I liked everything about it,” he said in an interview with Andscape by Marc Spears.
“First of all, its basketball. Two of the most important people of our lifetime, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Barack Obama are playing basketball and also using basketball as a vehicle to encourage people to come out and support their movements, what they were doing and support what they were fighting for.”
