Miami Heat guard Jaime Jaquez Jr seems to have a competitive lover, as his girlfriend Dominique Ruotolo proudly asserted that she would beat her boyfriend in a race.
In a fun interview over at the Miami Heat Charity Gala, Dominique Ruotolo was in attendance with her boyfriend Jaime Jaquez Jr. During the event, she was called on for a trivia game about her boyfriend. Ruotolo showed extensive knowledge about Jaquez’s NBA career, and the final question was: who would win in a race between her and her boyfriend?
“I think I would,” Jaime Jaquez Jr said. “She ran track. But I run every day for my work as well so I would.”

However, Ruotolo did not yield and asserted competitiveness.
“I would dust him,” she said.
Dominique Ruotolo has made a name for herself in track and field with her impressive athletic achievements. She has excelled in events such as the triple jump, where she recorded a personal best of 13.66 meters in 2021, and the long jump, with a best of 6.24 meters in 2022. Ruotolo has also competed in the 100 meters and 60 meters. If anything, she would certainly have what it takes to outrun an NBA player.

Jaime Jaquez Jr was recently selected for the recent Rising Stars game, where he was coached by Maimi Heat legend Tim Hardaway Sr. In a statement, the Heat legend admitted the reason why he picked Jaquez for the Rising Star team.
“Everybody knows why I drafted Jaime,” Hardaway explained. “Everybody knows. Yes, Heat, Heat, Heat, Heat Culture”.

Unfortunately, the team was eliminated in the Rising Stars semifinal and ultimately was not able to participate in the All-Star game.

Jamie Jaquez Jr Expresses Hopes for Heat As Season Nears End
The Miami Heat had a roller-coaster season, not only when it came to game and performance, but also when it came to the drama that they had to go through with former member Jimmy Butler. As the trade deadline is over and the season starts to pick up, and with the All-Star weekend also out of the way, Jamie Jaquez Jr. expressed hopes as they move forward this season.

“Immediate team goal is to get back on a winning streak,” Jaquez said in a Rising Stars postgame interview. “That’s number one. I don’t think we finished the break at all the way we wanted to. So coming back after the break, it’s a new mentality that we have to have as a team.”
