“Paul George Is Not The Only Person”: Jalen Brunson & Josh Hart Advised To Take A Break From Podcasting By Kendrick Perkins

Apart from Jalen Brunson showcasing his skills on the court, fans are much aware of his Roommates podcast with Josh Hart. Several NBA stars have their podcast, including Paul George. The 76ers shooting guard has a well-know podcast known as the “Podcast P with Paul George.”

During his last episode, George mentioned that he’s taking a break from his podcast. It’s not easy to be active while playing and trying to dedicate time to a podcast. George feels that he needs to take a break to concentrate on playing. Former NBA star Kendrick Perkins supports George’s decision, and he thinks that others should also follow his decision to take a break.

Perkins stated that Brunson and Hart should also take sometime off since the postseason is coming up. Perkins thinks that playing is of highest priority.

“Paul George is not the only person that should be taking a break from podcasting during the basketball season. I feel like Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart as well need to take a break,” Perkins said.

Kendrick Perkins says Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart need to take a break from podcasting, calling it a distraction, and adds that it would have been “smoke” if it happened in his locker room

He further mentioned that anything other than playing is a distraction. According to Perkins, the focus must be on winning a championship and the rest can wait.

“Anything else outside of that is a distraction. I wish I would’ve walked in the 2008 locker room talking about a podcast during the season,” Perkins continued. If you have an opportunity to win the championship, keep the main thing the main thing. Everything else can wait.”

Perkins might be right, especially since George is keen on helping the 76ers improve their overall record.

Jalen Brunson Continues To Shine For The New York Knicks

Brunson is coming off a strong performance in his last outing. Jalen Brunson scored 34 points, pushing him up the all-time leaderboard for the Knicks. The Knicks recorded a strong comeback against the 76ers.

After an initial struggle, the Knicks eventually scored 110 and gave up 105 in return. The Knicks improved their overall record to 38-20, and Brunson played a crucial role in their success. At present, the Knicks are holding the third spot in the Eastern Conference.

Jalen Brunson went 8 for 17 with his field goal attempts and 3 for 5 from the three-point radar. From the foul line, he went 15-16. Brunson is continuing to create waves in the Knicks uniform, and he’s looking forward to being etched in the franchise’s history.
