Phoenix Suns fans finally got to see what Jalen Green can do for them and it is everything they can ask for. The 2021 2nd overall pick made his debut on Thursday against the Los Angeles Clippers and dropped 29 points on 50 percent shooting. He also had three assists, three steals, and two blocks.

Suns dominated their visitors in the second half before wrapping it up with a 115-102 victory.

Talking to reporters post-game, Green, who missed the whole pre-season due to a hamstring injury, dismissed any health concerns.
“Body wise, I felt really good,” he said.
“Overall, I was just really excited to get out there. I was telling the guys I couldn’t even sleep. Usually I take a pregame nap. I couldn’t even get my nap in. I was so excited.”

Devin Booker finally had help. The four-time All-Star, averaging 30 points per game, scored 24 points.
As for the Clippers, they played without both James Harden (personal) and Kawhi Leonard (illness).
Jalen Green does not want to compare
The PHX Arena looked like a playground for Green who was able to do his things either from the three point line or through a drive to the basket.
He got the space to operate in his first game. When asked to compare how different his spacing is compared to his former team, Green refused to comment.
“It was good. We got a little vibe in training camp before the injury. Off the court, it’s a great vibe. On the court, it’s even better. It’s a lot of space out there.”
