Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown recently went virtual after he called Los Angeles Lakers veteran LeBron James on a livestream for advice on something not related to basketball.
In a recent livestream, Jaylen Brown leaned on veteran LeBron James for help with an off-court, lighthearted problem that went viral this week after social clips showed Brown’s hair leaving stains on opponents’ jerseys during games. During the stream, Brown called James and left a voicemail about a “code red” on the topic of balding.

“Code red,” he said over the phone. “They caught me slipping. I need to know Turkey or no Turkey, and I ain’t talking about no cheese sandwich. This some real s*** bro, call your lil bro back, put all that s*** in the past.”

Jaylen Brown’s decision to do a livestream and address the issue of hairline and balding came after he had incidents where he would leave a stain on a defending player’s jersey after bumping his head against them. Which in turn resulted in memes and fan discussions.
Jaylen Brown Asked for More Patience From Celtic Fans
After the rollercoaster of wins and losses to start the season, Boston Celtics’ veteran Jaylen Brown pleaded with fans to realize that it takes time to build chemistry after losing so many players from the season before.

Brown acknowledged the injuries and departures made the Celtics lose key players from the previous season and, importantly, that it won’t happen overnight to replace lost production and a new identity. He categorized the current stretch of games as part of a lengthy adjustment rather than a crisis, emphasizing that it would take time to “build some chemistry” after a different style and change with new pieces.
“It’s going to take some time,” Brown told reporters after Monday’s game. “We lost four All-Stars from last season between Al (Horford), Jrue (Holiday), Kristaps (Porzingis), and JT (Jayson Tatum) being out. And Luke (Kornet) is an All-Star in all of our hearts. We didn’t lose one guy, we lost five.”

Despite the challenges when it comes to restructuring, Brown still expressed hope that their current roster will eventually figure out how to find their chemistry on the court.
“To replace those guys, it doesn’t happen overnight,” he added. “It doesn’t happen in a week, either. We’ve got to build some chemistry, we got to build some identity, and adopt a new style of play. But I believe in this group, I believe that we have the potential.”
