Stephen Curry‘s skill has been a major factor in the Golden State Warriors’ rise to a championship dynasty. Warriors owner Joe Lacob, meanwhile, asserts that Curry isn’t largely to blame for the team’s accomplishments.
Former star Andre Iguodala appeared on Emily Chang’s show,” The Circuit,” where he talked about the organization’s majority owner on his mentality.

“You can’t win a championship unless you have the best talent,” Iguodala said. “And so, um, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say 80% of it, Steph Curry. Well, I know Joe doesn’t like when I say it that way, but it’s the truth.”
Despite his views on their franchise hero, Lacob is aware of Curry’s worth. The NBA executive praised the star 3-point shooter’s significance in a 2017 interview.
“People ask me what’s the one thing to turn the Warriors around? It’s… Steph Curry certainly helped. Having him on your roster. He was a rookie when we got the team… Really, the truth is, it’s not really one big thing. It’s not one or two inflection points. It’s every little thing,”
Curry’s former teammate added other information that sets him apart from others.
“His TAM (Total Addressable Market) is smaller, only because he’s very strategic in what he aligns himself up with. HE’s very wholesome and he lives a wholesome life. He’s true to what he represents. There are certain things that he wouldn’t participate in that will allow him to get there quicker, But I think over time he’ll eventually get there,”
Stephen Curry took responsibility for the Warriors’ loss against the Rockets in the NBA Cup

Against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday, the Warriors had a chance to advance to the Emirates NBA Cup semifinals. Unfortunately, the squad lost the game because of a late call on a loose ball foul. Stephen Curry accepted responsibility for their 91-90 loss despite that circumstance in the closing seconds of the game.
“The pattern of scoreless droughts down the stretch has to be addressed or else we’ll be a mediocre team,” Curry said. “I’ll take responsibility for not being able to get us organized and not being able to finish plays. Ball’s in my hands. I got to make shots.”
“That’ll be the defining point of our entire season. If we figure it out or if we don’t. Because we’re playing well enough to win most games. That’s a good sign and a bad sign.”
