JuJu Watkins, USC Trojans star player, had a really fun weekend with KK Arnold, Chloe Kitts, and Nia Symone over the weekend at the Overtime Select event. Watkins, Arnold, Kitts, and Symone were all part of the crowd entertainment and essentially hosted the Next Up 5s event. The event, which showcases the top high school basketball players in the United States, was truly electric, and the four friends definitely had a blast of a time.
Symone shared a number of pictures from the event, showing Watkins, Arnold, Kitts and herself interacting with the crowd and posing for the camera. All the girls were dressed in smart casual athletic wear, while Watkins was looking surreal without her classic top bun.
“Best out!!” KK Arnold commented on Nia Symone’s Instagram post where she shared a number of pictures of the Overtime Select event.

JuJu Watkins is perhaps the most well-known player in women’s college basketball and is currently enjoying her offseason away from the court. Watkins is expected to shatter records in the NCAA and transfer those into the WNBA immediately after that.
In the most recent college basketball season, Watkins’ performance was off the charts. However, this was not enough to propel the team to a championship win. Eventually, the UConn Huskies won the crown after they defeated the South Carolina Gamecocks.

JuJu Watkins’ Team Won Against Flau’Jae Johnson’s Team In Overtime Select
In the Overtime Select event, JuJu Watkins had the privilege of coaching a basketball team, just like Flau’Jae Johnson. Of course, this was not the first time that Watkins and Johnson each coached a team named after them in the Overtime Select event. Last year, Watkins’ team defeated Johnson’s team, and the same thing happened this year as well.

Flau’jae Johnson was definitely eager for her team to redeem themselves after losing to Watkins’ squad last time out. But this time out, Team JuJu won the game with a final score of 80-64 against Team Flau’jae.

While both players are still in their NCAA days, they seem to have done a pretty fantastic job of coaching the young high school players. Watkins was surely excited about coaching the team and said so in a video clip shared by the Overtime Select official Instagram account. The two players also enjoyed some friendly rivalry with each other as they do on the NCAA court. Perhaps, Flau’jae Johnson will be able to prove herself against Watkins in the next college basketball season.
