NBA veteran Kevin Durant recently missed one of the most-awaited games for his fans in this season, and recent reports suggest that it might be a deeper “personal matter” than originally announced.
In a recent report by veteran Arizona sports reporter John Gambadoro, Kevin Durant allegedly was declared out for his game against the Phoenix Suns for a major family development.

“I’m not reporting this, but somebody said that he’s (Durant) having a baby, so I think that’s why he’s not playing,” Gambadoro said in his program. “I don’t know for sure, but that’s what somebody told me. ‘Hey, I think he’s becoming a dad.’”

Despite his fame and his veteran status in the league, Kevin Durant has been able to keep most of his private life private and out of the public eye. He has not commented on the alleged information so far.
Kevin Durant’s Missing Recent Game Gets Reaction From Devin Booker
Former Suns star Kevin Durant missed the much-anticipated matchup between his new team and his former team, as he was declared out by the Houston Rockets due to personal reasons.
The absence removed a marquee matchup from the schedule and drew a brief reaction from Suns star Devin Booker, who said he hopes Durant’s family is well and that he would have welcomed the contest.

Booker, speaking ahead of the game, emphasized concern for Durant’s family before noting he would have liked the on-court challenge, underscoring the competitive interest surrounding the matchup. The teams are scheduled to meet again in Houston, while the Rockets are slated to visit Phoenix on the latter part of the season next year.
“I hope everything is OK with his family first, but yeah, I would love a matchup with him,” Booker said on Durant’s absence from the game.

Durant spent roughly two and a half seasons with the Suns before being traded to Houston in the offseason, a move that brought Phoenix players and draft assets, including Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, and the No. 10 pick Khaman Maluach.
“It was tough not getting where we wanted to with Kevin (Durant and Bradley Beal), two guys I have high respect for and always will,” Booker said earlier in the season. “It wasn’t as connected as we wanted it to be. I don’t think anybody had problems with each other off the court. We simply weren’t connected enough. It’ll always be a disappointment to me to not do what we all sought out to do.”
Kevin Durant, so far, is expected to miss at least two games.
