Last Saturday at the United Center was dedicated for Derrick Rose as they started their game against the Boston Celtics by retiring the 2011 MVP’s no. 1 jersey. Kevin Huerter made sure that the night is all about jubilation and he buried the dagger to cap off the night with a win.

All eyes were on Huerter when he buried a game-stealing 3 point shot with 0.4 seconds left to upset the more favored Celtics.

The United Center was rocking after that shot and Huerter still thought about Rose in the final seconds. That would have been really epic had he push through with his initial thoughts.

Kevin Huerter right after the winning shot
Well, the situation just did not allow to recreate the iconic Rose nonchalant celebration as his teammates did not swarm him after his made the shot. They could not do it because there was still less than a second left on the clock. Storming the court might get them a technical foul.
Even those other four on the floor did not come to him.
Huerter still tried to do it though with one teammate after that catch up with the reporter.

He was not able to fully perform the Rose meme but the Chicago legend still gave him the best gift as a pro.
