The Los Angeles Lakers got blown out 128-106 on LeBron James’ 41st birthday. Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons undoubtedly dominated the purple and gold from kickoff to final buzzer. But nobody expected Bronny James to sleep on defense, at least on his father’s big day.

Four minutes had passed as the little Bron checked in, but suddenly the kid’s brain was transported to another world. Seeing him completely disengaged, fans rat out their every saved frustration at a time as Pistons player made the best use of his vulnerable moment.

With just a few minutes left in the game, a Pistons player with the ball from midcourt likely noticed Bronny was neutral. He took the chance, throwing it toward uninvolved Bronny, who was standing near the free-throw line.

Since Bronny was seemingly transported to another world for a time being, he couldn’t focus and failed to catch the ball — the rock sailed past him like he wasn’t even there.

All this happened within just a 10-second timeframe, and the 15-second clip has since turned viral online. “Bronny is asleep out there; he doesn’t even like basketball,” one X account posted with crying emojis.

Quite frankly, the Pistons player exposed what fans have suspected since James Jr.’s draft last season. Bronny doesn’t have NBA instincts. He has never moved like a pro. But he looks like the most non-NBA player in the NBA.

NBA Fans Unleash Brutal Reality Check on Bronny James

The fan reactions came fast, and no one seems convinced to forgive his in-game blunder.

“You had me at ‘cut him’, I would like to add ‘from the roster,'” one fan wrote.

Another added, “This has the energy of a kid playing soccer because his dad signed him up for it, and he’s just staring at birds or some shit because he doesn’t care.”

A third claimed, “Bronny is the most non-NBA player in the NBA.”

“Bro can literally spend his entire life just traveling, hooking up with models, playing video games and partying but his dad forced him to play in the NBA,” a fourth fan remarked.

The fifth one didn’t mince words, penning, “Stop defending him.”

Bronny’s averaging 1.6 points per game on 31.4% shooting. Neither can he assist nor can he block. In every segment, James Jr. is just blank. Plus, his small physique never seemed hardwood-friendly to fans.

And now it becomes crystal clear that he does not like the NBA. Quite frankly, if LeBron retires, the league will become a nightmare for Bronny because NBA fans are not forgiving.
