Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James gave his approval to Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown as the latter used his signature “Silencer” celebration move, after scoring a touchdown that further cemented the Eagles’ lead against the Kansas City Chiefs.
During the Super Bowl LIX, A.J. Brown paid tribute to LeBron James with his iconic “Silencer” celebration after scoring a touchdown late in the second quarter. The Eagles were leading the Kansas City Chiefs 24-0 at the time, and Brown’s touchdown reception from Jalen Hurts sealed the deal for the Eagles’ dominant first-half performance.
The move caught the attention of fans, and even Lebron himself who was also watching the game. James took to social media to appreciate the tribute of the Eagles WR and also gave his approval of how Brown pulled it off.
“Ayyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeee,” James posted on his Instagram story. “That Silencer was on POINT!!”
The “Silencer” is a signature celebration move by LeBron James. He popularized it during his time with the Miami Heat in 2013, after hitting a game-winning three-pointer against the Golden State Warriors. The move involves pushing both hands down while lifting each knee one at a time, symbolizing “silencing” the opposing team’s fans.

More recently, LeBron brought the celebration back briefly in November 2024 during a game against the New Orleans Pelicans, after hitting a game-winning three-point shot.
The Super Bowl LIX ended with the Philadelphia Eagles as the winner. Despite coming into the game as the huge underdogs, the Eagles defied expectations and won by a landslide, as they did not let the Kansas City Chiefs gain their momentum and did a good defense around Patrick Mahomes.
LeBron James Predicts Super Bowl Winner, Stats
Prior to the big game itself, LeBron James went out and predicted the outcome of the most-awaited football event of the season, from the big winner down to the details of the match.
“It’s hard to go against Mahomes, so I got the Chiefs winning the game,” LeBron said of the winner in his bet.

For touchdowns, he predicted Saquon Barkley and Xavier Worthy as top TD scorers. Ultimately, Jalen Hurts had the most touchdowns with a total of three: two passing, and one rushing.

In the NBA, LeBron James currently averages 24.5 points per game, 7.8 rebounds, and 9 assists.
