LiAngelo Ball has found himself dealing with another wave of criticism, this time from his estranged wife, Rashida Nicole. The issues she raised echo the same complaints his ex, Nikki Mudarris, made earlier this year — mainly that Ball has been absent when it comes to his children.
Nicole recently gave birth to their daughter, Lilo Legacy Ball, and said she chose to deliver without Ball present. Almost a week later, she claimed he still hadn’t reached out or shown up to meet the newborn. On Monday, she posted a photo of the baby on her Instagram Story, drinking from a bottle, and added a sharp message.

“Poor baby been on this earth for 6 days still ain’t seen or heard from her dad,” she wrote. “Wow!”
Her post added another layer to a situation that has followed Ball for months. Mudarris had previously said he hadn’t spoken to their kids for six weeks, despite the two of them being together for more than three years and sharing two children. In February, she also alleged that Ball left her for another woman who was pregnant with his child — news she said he shared with her only four weeks after they welcomed their second baby.
“I’ve done everything alone”: Rashida explains why she didn’t want LiAngelo Ball at the delivery
Shortly after giving birth, Nicole explained why she didn’t want Ball in the delivery room. She said the decision came from everything she experienced during the pregnancy.

“I chose for my child’s father not to be at my delivery,” she wrote. “That decision came after months of emotional pain, hurtful words, and complete absence during the most vulnerable season of my life.”
She added, “For the last five months, I’ve done everything alone — every appointment, every milestone, every challenge.”
Nicole also said she felt unsupported and unprotected the entire time they were together, and that Ball had not been honest with her consistently.
“So no, I wasn’t going to allow a 5-minute delivery room photo-op for the internet,” she said.
The two filed for divorce in July, just half a year after tying the knot, and their situation hasn’t appeared to ease up since.
