LSU star and rapper Flau’Jae Johnson may be enjoying her offseason, but that does not mean she won’t be making new music. The LSU Tigers senior recently dropped a huge hint of an upcoming track via her social media.

Over the weekend, Flau’Jae Johnson posted two of her previously released videos on Instagram, encouraging fans to keep streaming them while teasing a new drop on the way. The tracks, which debuted in June, were deeply personal tributes to her parents: her mother, Kia Brooks, and her late father, Jason “Camoflauge” Johnson, a Georgia rapper who was killed six months before her birth.

“My Last Two Drops 🔥 Go Tap In Keep Streaming And Sharing . I Appreciate Y’all So Much. I’m About To Drop Again.. That’s Fasho,” the Lady Tigers standout guard wrote.

In another announcement, Johnson confirmed her guest act return to America’s Got Talent for the show’s 20th-anniversary special airing on August 27. This was relayed through a heartfelt Instagram post by her mother who stated how much it meant to perform on such a big television stage as a lead-up to completing her senior basketball season.

Under contract with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, Johnson has established herself as one of the most promising young talents across both athletic and entertainment spheres.

LSU basketball standout Flau’Jae Johnson went from the basketball court to a fast-paced setting over the week as she served as an honorary starter at the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway.

As an invited celebrity guest, the senior guard ceremonially waved the green flag to start the NASCAR race and afterwards shared her excitement via Instagram. Johnson also shared videos of herself waving the flag, interacting with fans, and views of the track from the pit road terrace.

“Daytona turned me into a NASCAR fan real quick 🏁🚀 Big energy at the Coke Zero Sugar 400. … drivers going crazy, speed unreal. Huge respect to all the drivers out there, and big thanks to @cocacolaracing for making it happen!,” she wrote in her caption.

Outside of the race, Flau’Jae Johnson is getting ready for her last season with the Tigers, where there is much speculation that she will be a captain with her teammate Mikaylah Williams. Williams recently posted a touching Instagram story about starting their “last ride” together, and Johnson subsequently reposted her post with a very loving response.

Yesterday, while I was at work, my sister stole my iphone and tested to see if it can survive a forty foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My apple ipad is now broken and she has 83 views. I know this is totally off topic but I had to share it with someone!
