Cunningham’s former team, the Fever, has not exactly expressed a strong desire to play her again in their upcoming season. Meanwhile, Sophie Cunningham has continued to be highly active on social media, even as she takes a break from basketball. One of Cunningham’s most recent tweets has gone viral with many trolling her for being so unaware. Cunningham responded to a tweet that Terry Rozier will receive his full salary while he is on leave after being named in the recent FBI investigations for illegal gambling.
Cunningham reacted negatively to the news and hoped that Rozier receiving his full salary is definitely “fake”. However, many reacted to this and commented that the player should be a little more educated on how things unfold legally in America.

Terry Rozier was indeed named as one of many in the illegal gambling case. However, the NBA has cleared him of all charges. Meanwhile, Rozier is under a fully guaranteed contract, which entitles him to his full salary. Fans pointed out that Cunningham should have definitely known about this before putting out such a tweet. At the same time, many others felt that Rozier’s salary should be split between WNBA players who don’t receive anything close to this.
