‘Looked the Best Player in the World’ – Jaylen Brown Has the Most Epic Response on Getting Snubbed By Dropping 50 on League’s Hottest Team

Los Angeles Clippers were the hottest team in the league before Saturday but they are no longer that team after running in to Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown who happened to be in his most motivated state.

JB slammed the Best Player of the Month Award a day ago saying he had a better December than Jalen Brunson and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who won it for the East and West conference, respectively. This comment comes a few days after he criticized the All-Star Voting.

“Yeah, honestly, I’m not going to say too much, but I’m going to be honest,” Brown said on his streaming side.

“No disrespect, no diss to any of those guys, Shai or Brunson. Neither one of them had a better month than I had. But it’s all good. Those are great players.”

He may have a point as his stat will show that he is the best compared to the two. Not to mention that their records are also great.

Jaylen Brown over the last 14 games:

    32.6 PPG
    6.9 RPG
    5.8 APG
    52.9% FG
    40.7% 3P
    35.7 MPG

    32+ PPG on 52/40 shooting splits — Absolutely thriving as the No. 1 option. 🔥 https://t.co/pQpRWRMtvm pic.twitter.com/SUExvjJ6xn

They played the Clippers the next day and he provide the most epic response ever by dropping 50 points to dominate the Clippers. He did this while also guarding Kawhi Leonard, a task his coach Joe Mazzulla said he personally requested.

Nah bro this is something different, he’s playing at a level we have never seen before

The difficulty in these shots he’s taking, his overall play been the best I’ve ever seen from him https://t.co/vEw9kVDGfN

Mazzulla himself loved the disappointment Brown felt. He got what he wanted.

“I’m happy he’s disappointed in it… I hope he takes it out on our opponents for the next month,” he said before the game against the Clippers.

Jaylen Brown should be an MVP candidate

This explosion got the NBA X validating his claim about the Player of the Month Award. Not only that, they also thought he should be in the MVP conversations from now on.

Jaylen Brown has to be in the MVP conversation. Hard to argue many guys have been more valuable than Brown has this season, given what the Celtics situation has been.

50 points on 18/26 from the field

One of the more efficient games you will see from a player.

Jaylen Brown was averaging 34.9 PPG in his last 10 games.

Jaylen Brown has to be in the MVP conversation if he continues to play at this level..None of the “so called” NBA experts picked the C’s to be a contender in the East..some thought they would struggle to make the playoffs..It’s because of Jaylen Brown !!
